The overall goal of the Human Resources department is to be a strategic partner in Lakewood Water District’s mission to provide safe, reliable drinking water through its most valuable resource – its people.

The Human Resources department is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the District’s comprehensive human resource program. This includes organizational planning and policy development, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, employee relations, benefits and leave administration, performance management, training and development, safety, health, and risk management.
