Veterans Drive—Lakeholme Road SW to Alameda Avenue SW

This project continues the 2012 project involving replacement of approximately 1700 lineal feet of old AC mains with new 12-inch and 8-inch ductile iron mains along Veterans Drive including new hydrants, valves, and replacement water services.

Lakeland Avenue—Veterans Drive South to the end

This proposed project starts penetrating the residential areas off the trunk main in Veterans Drive installed in 2011. Lakeland Avenue currently has approximately 1000 feet of 4-inch AC water main with a fire hydrant at the end. This project would replace the existing 1000 feet of 4-inch AC main and provide adequate fire protection and the replacement of the 19 services.

Lakeholme Road—Veterans Drive South 250 Feet

The second water main proposal to branch off the Veterans Drive trunk main to serve the residential area would be on Lakeholme Road, going south off Veterans Drive. This proposed 8-inch ductile iron main would replace the existing 4-inch AC main at least as far to the first fire hydrant, some 250 feet south of Veterans Drive. This would include the replacement of ten services and the one fire hydrant with provisions to extend the main in the future.
